I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for the 'experience' of getting our new heating/ac unit. From the moment Mark Keeter showed up at my door to do what we thought would be a repair to our old unit, to the first blast of cool air, it was a pleasure. Mark was courteous, professionally thorough and honest in his presentation of our options. He was very friendly and pleasant. He was accessible to my husband via the phone and even came back in the afternoon to follow up with him and answer our questions. We appreciate that very much. The installation crew was courteous and thorough from pull up to pull out-I know their job is not an easy one, hauling around big units and trying to maneuver them in place and properly connecting everything, all while crawling around under houses. I was impressed with their good attitude in the face of that. Samuel was courteous, friendly and thorough. I appreciate his explanation of operation and his taking me and showing and explaining everything that was done. Thank you Chris, for taking the time to come by to ensure our satisfaction and expressing your appreciation for our business. We look forward to working with Helms Heating and Air Conditioning for all our heating and ac needs. That reminds me, Mark had asked for the addresses for where all our units are to get them on the spring and fall check up list....I forgot to do that. I will get to work on that and email them to you when I've completed the list. Thanks again. It was a pleasure working with you all. |

Thank you for the quick response
to my need for a heating unit that had caught on fire and burned the
electrical system inside. Your service technician responded the
same day and determined the outside unit had burned most of the
electrical components. He was able to give me two options: 1. to
replace the electrical parts and use the unit, 2. to replace the whole
unit which would also require changing the air handler inside due to the
age of the complete system. This would be more efficient to
operate. He gave me a written quote to choose from on both choices
without pressure to decide. He also suggested for me to get other
quotes before making a decision. I did get another quote and also have
good knowledge of cost of repair for these types of units having to had
replace others in the past. Having five different units in this building and needing them to work at all times for the tenants that rent spaces I chose to go with the new complete system. We talked about the age of the old unit and the likelihood of other issues with it in the future and the cost of repair to the old unit and the likelihood of other issues with it in the future and the cost of repair to the old unit would be similar to a new one. I called a couple of days later to get the new unit and it was scheduled to be installed in two days. Michael Medlin, the Technical Supervisor, Sam Sanchez, a technician and crew came out and removed the old unit inside and out. The encountered a problem with another Freon line which was confusing due to the number of units in the building. It took some time to repair it. This was done without adding additional cost to the original quote. They installed the entire unit using the existing ductwork, piping, and electrical to save cost. The air handler was located in the attic and was not the easiest to get to or to make the new one fit. They did a great job and completed it in one day as quoted even after encountering extra work to do. They also surveyed my other systems to have knowledge of those units to be able to respond more efficiently in the future for service. Your company did a great job from the first call to the final walk through after the completion of the installation. You took care of all county permits and scheduled inspections with the county. I plan to use and recommend Helms Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. in the future. Thank you for the great job and the timeliness of completion. |

I am writing this letter to commend
your sales staff and technicians. Antonio and Vince from your
sales staff came to my house to provide me a quote for having a
humidifier and an air cleaner installed. They were extremely
pleasant, honest and helpful in making suggestions for the appropriate
equipment for my house. I was extremely pleased when they
accommodated my schedule for installation and was amazed that they were
able to install the equipment the very same week! On the date of installation, the service technicians and the sales staff were at my house promptly at the appointment time. Vince and Antonio stayed to make sure the job got underway successfully. The technicians (Michael, Rodney, and Jim) were courteous, efficient, and did an excellent job in installing the equipment. I must also add that I was very impressed that they took care in covering their work boots so as not to get dirt on my carpet. I have had occasion to have many workmen in my home and your crew was the only one who took care in respecting my family's living area. Your staff exemplifies every aspect of excellent customer service which is a rare commodity these days. You should be proud to have Antonio, Vince, Michael, and Rodney on your staff. I am writing to again thank you for
the services of two of your technicians who recently installed a new
Lennox heating unit in my home. Michael Seibel and Jim Sullivan
went "far beyond the call of duty" in their manner and means of
providing excellence and showed unexcelled expertise in the installation
process. They were careful to leave nothing behind - no
fingerprints, no footprints, no paper clutter - and anything they moved,
they put back in place before leaving. Most of all, they treated
me with respect and courtesy - an attribute of all Helms' workers, I've
found. In addition to thanking you for Mr. Seibel and Mr. Sullivan. I want to also express my appreciate to Mr. Steve Jackson who sold me the heating unit. He was kind and considerate and not pushy in any way. He exemplified "salesmanship" at its best.
